When I was growing up in New Jersey, my mom would regularly take my sister and I into the city to see shows. I have many fond memories of standing in the half-price ticket line in Times Square and going to matinees. – Trey Anastasio

I was in choir in school. I kind of just did it. I already knew I wanted to sing. My music program in my school wasnt really great – people didnt really want to be part of the choir, they didnt want to do the plays and stuff like that. It definitely wasnt the cool thing to do. – Lea Michele
